Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the LES Systems website at lessystems.ai and the Jude mobile application (together, the “Services”), provided by LES Systems LLC (“LES Systems,” “we,” “us”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. The Services
LES Systems provides Jude, a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze images you submit and return information about them, and this informational website. Jude is currently offered as a beta product and may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time.
2. Informational use only — no professional advice
The Services are for general informational purposes only. Jude’s output is generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. The Services do not provide medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice and are not a substitute for a qualified professional. Do not rely on the Services to identify medications, diagnose any condition, assess a hazard, or make any decision where an error could cause harm. Always verify important information with an appropriate professional or authoritative source.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Services unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights; (b) upload content you have no right to submit; (c) attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Services; or (d) use the Services to build a competing product.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the images and information you submit. You grant LES Systems a limited license to process that content solely to provide and improve the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you submit.
6. Intellectual property
The Services, including the LES Systems and Jude names, software, and design, are owned by LES Systems LLC and protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use.
7. Third-party content and services
The Services may incorporate data from third-party sources and may link to third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, accuracy, or practices.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LES SYSTEMS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR TWELVE MONTHS OR USD $50.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LES Systems LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.
11. Changes
We may modify the Services or these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date; continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, including for violation of these Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
